We utilize as many local business as possible, and focus towards regionally available materials. We prefer River Recovered Cypress Heartwood. It is eco-friendly, has a longevity that surpasses most other woods, and is a pleasure to work with.

The Carpentry Hut, LLC is owned by Daniel B. Conover who has an education in design and background in engineering, He is able to move seamlessly between concept, design, and production. His career began with remodeling and basic carpentry and then moved into custom cabinetry and finish work. With the help of his wife Ashley, they created The Carpentry Hut with a passion for bringing these designs to life. Ashley comes from a diverse background in the building industry, marketing and design, and office management.
